Some that didn’t listen to me in 2016, about investing in Bitcoin are now telling me, I wish I had listened to you then. I remember standing around the office talking to a coworker about crypto, another coworker walked up to us and said are you talking about Bitcoin? We said yes, you want us to help you buy some? He said no, I’m a stock guy and I’m happy with my 10% gains for the year. We laughed and said 10% for the year, that’s a week in crypto…

My biggest reason for being so passionate about cryptocurrency is because it’s a hedge against a falling $USD. Because basic finance is not taught in schools anymore, most don’t understand the significance of the constant printing the Federal Reserve does and how it lowers the value of the dollar.

For many, their largest asset is their home. But many think buying a home is a great investment because it goes up in value, but the real reason it goes up in value as does everything is that the dollar is constantly going down in value. This is why you always hear a dollar can’t buy what it could 5 years ago.

There are many cryptocurrency coins on the market so just like stocks, you must always do your research to see if it is a good investment. Research the project behind the coin, and what is the market cap? These are all good indicators if a crypto project is a worthy investment but nothing is foolproof. It seems like when we are in a bull market sometimes it doesn’t matter what coin you invest, it just seems to go to the moon.

I have 40-50 different coins that I hold. Some for the long term and some for a quick flip but if you are not sure what coin to buy, Bitcoin is the safest. In my opinion, it is like owning a blue-chip stock.
